    • Exploratory – looking for patterns
    • Descriptive – summarizing data
    • Inferential – estimating population parameters based on sample statistics
    • Experimental – testing for significance
    • Predictive – forecasting, simulation
    • Prescriptive – optimization

Assignment:

  • Blog Assignment 2
    • Download or copy this Grade Data worksheet
    • Load the data in Google Sheets (your account)
    • Combine Sec 1, 2 and 3 so there are only 2 columns with all Scores and Grades
    • Sort using the Scores column from High to Low
    • Count the number of As, Bs, Cs, Ds and Fs (Bonus: use the “countif” function)
    • Post a table with counts to your blog
  • Textbook Reading in Chapter 1 
    • p. 9-11 (Introduction and Definitions)
    • p. 13-14; 17 (Quantitative vs Qualitative)
    • p. 21-23 (Sampling)

    I can’t edit the information on the google sheet you gave us. It says I can only view it and said I needed to ask for permission which I did but I don’t know if you will see that before class giving me time to complete the assignment.

      You need to copy/paste the data into your own worksheet.
