Spatial Career Guide is now Required Reading at USC
April 29, 2012
I was mentioned on Twitter because my post on GIS Software Developer career preparation as part of the Spatial Career series is now required reading for a graduate level GIS class at the University of Southern California. I thought this was pretty cool. I think my PhD advisor was hoping my contribution to the discipline would involve research published in journal articles …. but I’ll take what I can get.

Hi, this is really ‘cool’!
In fact I have been wondering why your blog series on Spatial Career Guide hasn’t featured in Directions or elsewhere.
Incidentally, I loved your ‘Spatial Statistician’ blog as this is an aspect not as widely known, whereas it forms the core of the probability modeling.
Thank you, Sangeeta!
Very cool and well deserved!
Thank you, Andrew!
great job justin!
