    Hello,
I am having trouble importing the data. When I search for the file in the folder, the folder is completely empty. When I try using the search feature this message appears “The program was not able to create a connection to the indexer daemon. Please make sure it is running.” Does anyone know how to fix any of this?
    Thanks,
    Kristen

Hi Kristin, you may need to first convert the Excel file into CSV (comma separated values) format before importing. We will discuss in class tomorrow and I will extend the assignment deadline. Thank you for posting this question and sorry for any frustration this may have caused! Cheers, JH

Kevin, I’m not a Mac user so I’m afraid I can’t help much on this one though I’m happy to look at with you if you are able to bring your laptop into class today. Any other Mac users out there have the same problem? Thanks, JH
